NPT is an award-winning theatre operating as a “Hybrid” theatre.

(Some professionals- AEA- are paid (roles noted with a * on the “roles page”) but the majority of our local adults operate as “community theatre” or volunteer cast members who believe in our mission)

All adults must have a car and local housing

Please note: MOST TEEN ROLES WILL BE FILLED BY OUR ACTUAL TEENAGERS ENROLLED IN OUR PROGRAM. THE “NICEST KIDS IN TOWN” TEENS COULD INCLUDE ADULTS BUT WILL NOT BE PAID ROLES.

Youth and Teens pay tuition and receive coachings and classes as well as rehearsals with the professionals. Local adults may opt to plug in for some of the professional development classes as well at no cost.

**Local adults are often asked to perform in our Holiday show as well as our co-produced Musical each February with the Norwalk Symphony.

You may be asked to stay and read as well.

REHEARSALS (Depending on the role, we may be able to accommodate a few conflicts during the first two weeks, but we need to know what those may be at your audition. If you are playing an adult role, you may only need to come after work and not at 2 pm but this is a professional rehearsal schedule, so if you are playing a “teen,” you will need to come from 2-8 pm on weekdays and join us for the weekend rehearsals as well.

You will be performing with Broadaway and other professionals.

NO CONFLICTS DURING TECH WEEK!

The first two weeks of rehearsal are at Emmanuel Church in Weston
